What is Hydra-Facial

Hydra-Facial is a 6 in 1 dermalogical treatment which combines the infusion of medicinal products and crystal free exfoliation. It utilises a specially formulated water treatment to remove impurities from within the pores of the skin and instil moisture, peptides and serum to the epidermis and dermis layers. In doing so it gently exfoliates and increases hydration of the skin reducing inflammation and reversing photo damage.

Hydra-Facial Treatments are gentle, painless treatments. Patients will be able to see and feel an immediate improvement in skin appearance.

Who can receive a Hydra-Facial Treatment

This treatment is suitable for most ages and skin types. Aimed at treating areas of face, chest and back affected with acne, pimples, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage and loss of elasticity. The water formulation is specially matched to your skin type whether it is normal, dry, oily or sensitive.
Not recommended for those with active rashes, sunburn, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, recent bruising, extremely vascular skin, cold sores or skin infection.

Treatment outline

The 6 in 1 procedure begins with a painless deep cleanse of the skin using a dermabrasion device and suitable soluble solution which dissolves the sebum, bacteria and cosmetic residue in the pores. The high polymer atomising pen penetrates the deep pores and deposits a fine mist to help hydrate the skin. The compounds used will be matched to your skin type. The next 2 step involves ultrasound. The high frequency sound waves stimulate collagen by working into the facial muscles. By promoting elastin and collagen the skin will feel firmer. The skin surface will be free of clogged pores, blackheads, pollution and will have glow to it. The cold hammer is used to shrink capillary blood vessels on the face, close pores up and seal in moisture. The benefits of the Hydra-Facial treatment can be seen immediately.

Important information

The treatment lasts 60 mins but can be longer for more troublesome skin types. It comes with no down time and is not usual for patients to experience side effects. It is recommended to wait 4 weeks for your next Hydra-Facial. The cost of treatment is £150.
