A Phlebotomist is a person who is trained to take blood samples from patients. These are then sent to a laboratory and tested to help diagnose diseases and medical conditions. It is a safe procedure which carries very low risk of side effects or harm. Please alert your Phlebotomist if you have any issues with getting blood taken especially fainting.
